Google Postmaster Tools – New Dashboard – Spam

There’s something new on the Google Postmaster Tools interface!

After the addition of a page dedicated to monitoring the compliance status of your domain, a new dashboard has now appeared, this time for tracking spam placement!

Specifically, using the example of a domain sending with Sweego, the new interface appears as follows:

For clarity, Google has added two lines to simplify reading:

  • A yellow line, above which it is advisable not to be.
  • A red line, above which you absolutely must not be.

The information provided remains quite basic: the system gives the date, the spam rate reported by users, and whether the 0.3% threshold is respected.

It is important to note that the spam rate reported by users does not represent the rate of emails sent to the spam folder.

As a reminder, here is what the old page looks like:

This simplification in reading will certainly save time for senders.

The next step, we hope: providing visibility on one-click unsubscription and tracking compliance with unsubscription requests.
